You are watching and listening to the electronic inifat. I am John Elmer. This is the resistance report for day 825 of Israel's genocidal war. It's also been 91 days since the ceasefire agreement was signed and I'll give an update on the status of that ceasefire today, but I think everybody knows it's not much of a ceasefire. Um, but let's begin with the messages of solidarity from the Palestinian resistance uh to the people of Venezuela. This is a a a visual that was put out by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine showing the soldiers uh from Gaza and the soldiers from Venezuela uh in solidarity sharing the same gun. PLP said after so after the designation of Venezuela as a foreign terrorist organization in late December um and the formal ordering of a blockade on all uh sanctioned oil as a prelude to the kidnapping of President Maduro.
The PFLP responded that classifying the Venezuelan leadership as terrorist is blatant American thuggery and the real terrorist is the one who burns nations and supports wars of annihilation. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemns in the strongest terms the announcement by the US President Donald Trump classifying Venezuelan leadership as a foreign terrorist organization, affirming that this decision presents the peak of political piracy and a blatant assault on the will of people and the usurppation of sovereignty. They went on to say, "It is the American leadership involved up to its ears in supporting wars of genocide, especially in Palestine, and responsible for destroying homelands and burning nations around the world that should be classified as terrorist and pursued internationally.
We send a message of solidarity and pride to Venezuela, to its leadership, and its people in confronting this escalation of American crime. And we will uh and we call on all free people of the Latin American continent as well as the entire world to unite and confront American piracy that aims to eliminate anyone who dares say no in the face of imperial hegemony. Um the other Palestinian factions also were involved and I think uh Islamic Jihad statement uh really captured the sentiment of all of the factions when they said we condemn the vicious American aggression against the Republic of Venezuela and the attacks targeting its capital Karacas and its loyal people. These aggressive actions which have escalated from naval blockade to direct military strikes reveal intentions of hegemony, occupation, and forcible domination and constitute a flagrant violation of international law and national sovereignty.
They are also the extension of imperialist policies aimed at subjugating peoples and plundering their resources. Today's target is Venezuela. Uh today's targeting of Venezuela is a punishment for its steadfast international positions, particularly its historic and unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the resistance forces in our region and its standing with our people against war crimes and genocide. The Venezuelan people's struggle for freedom and sovereignty is part of our nation's own battle against hegemony and neoc colonialism. Hamas said um along those same lines that the it was an extension the American actions this American assault was an extension of the unjust US interventions driven by imperial ambition that have destabilized multiple countries across the world.
The popular resistance committees condemned the attack um as global fascism and savagery um and demonstrated the ugly face of successive US administrations. and Hezbollah had uh um a statement about Venezuela. They said that they strongly condemn the terrorist aggression and American thugy against the Republic of Venezuela, calling it an unprecedented and blatant violation of national sovereignty of an independent state, international law, and the United Nations charters based on flimsy and false pretext. The attack constitutes a renewed affirmation of the approach of domination, arrogance, and piracy practiced by the American administration without any restraint and stark proof of its disregard for international stability and security.
It entrenches the law of the jungle and and detonates what remains of the structures of the international order and hollows out of any substance that could serve as a guarantee or a safeguard of the people or the states of the world. The United States of America, which continues to live in a frenzy of control and hegemony, repeatedly exposes its true criminal face from Afghanistan to Iraq, Yemen, and Iran through the manufacturing of terrorism and support for its protetéé, Israel, which shares the same criminal, aggressive, and colonial behavior. And it's important to say about Hezbollah, um the links between Hezbollah and and uh Venezuela are very strong. I reported on the uh 2006 July war uh between Israel and Hzbollah and there were uh pictures, posters uh billboards, entire building sized billboards up for Chavez at that time who spoke forcefully um against uh the Israeli invasion.
Um and like Justin said, this position on Israel is built into the Bolivarian revolution and into Venezuelan state policy. Um Chavez called the 2006 July war a fascist outrage and and said that the Israelis should stand trial for that. So those kind of strong statements uh of solidarity have a long history uh in the region. Um and so when Venezuela uh was the victim of this uh attack in these past few weeks um the resistance spoke up about that. Uh we can see in this next slide um another one from the PFLP um of course quoting the uh the famous cheera line ever onward to victory. Um from Palestine to Venezuela one front one battle against imperialism always until victory. Um the plan uh the raid on Venezuela involved 150 US aircraft from 20 bases, months of planning and was part of a spate of US attacks this year um which included participating fully in the genocide in Gaza, participate providing weapons and ammunition to the tune of $25 billion for Israel to carry out that genocide.
um along with its uh war against Yemen which really lasted the entire time uh the entire two years of the war but was of course uh highlighted by the or lowlighted by the 50-day war um that Trump waged against Yemen uh failing war against Yemen, the 12-day war against Iran and strikes in Syria, Iraq, Somalia and Nigeria. Um so strong statements of support uh for the Venezuelan people from the resistance in Gaza and Hzbalah as well. Um if we look at the next slide, the PFLP also uh noted the martyrs that we talked about on last week's show. Um this is a PFLP Abu Ali Mustapa Brigades put out this um martyr poster for um the chief of staff of the Casam Brigades, Muhammad Sinoir. Um he Muhammad Sinir was assassinated on the 13th of May but they just Kasam Brigades just officially announced it um a little over a week and a half ago and we covered that on last week's show.
Uh but a little more here because these posters um I wanted to share with you the way that the joint operations uh room, the way the the resistance factions work together um is always shown in these kind of posters um and statements that are made um about the fallen commanders. Um and just a little bit about Muhammad Sinir because we didn't get into that much yesterday. Last show we focused um on Abu Oba but Muhammad Sinar's resistance trajectory matches many of the Casam brigades uh development from the time of the first in Tififada in the 1980s when uh Muhammad Senoir was only uh was 13 young 13 years younger than his brother Yaha Sinir at the time and his brother was friends with Imad Akil and Muhammad D and Rohawi Rahi Mushtaha who were the founders of the Cassam brigades.
So he grew up and was raised in that uh community. He was grew grew up in the camp in Kununis, went to school uh at UN schools like everyone in Gaza and when the resistance says you to the people of Gaza, you are us and we are you. Um Muhammad Sinir really speaks to that um that kind of um embedding within the civilian population that these movements grow out of and the reason why they can't be defeated. they can't be um especially defeated by collaborators. Um uh Muhammad Sinar was key during the second inifada. Um he was key to I mean he's a key um architect of Kasam strategy all throughout from the beginning. Um but in the second inifada in particular, he was a key player involved in setting up the uh brigades of uh the Kasam brigades, moving from uh operatives into uh essentially starting to build a national army.
Um that would come about with uh that began with the disengagement from Gaza, which Israel did after it was unsuccessful in putting down the second Palestinian inif uh the early 2000s. Um and Muhammad Sinar called the disengagement one of the most important achievements of the Palestinian resistance. And right after um the uh Israeli troops and settlers left the Gaza Strip um the Cassam brigades for the first time broke secrecy on who their commanders were. Um and Muhammad Sinar was one uh who was list who was named um and he was uh the commander of the Kunis Brigades um which is where he grew up. In 2006, he masterminded the operation to capture the Israeli tank gunner Gilad Shalid, who was exchanged 5 years later for a thousand prisoners, including uh his brother, Yahwir, which changed the course of uh Palestinian history.
Um the attack that um captured the Israeli soldier was a tunnel operation which is also something that uh that uh Muhammad Sinar was a key player in establishing the tunnel network both the strategic tunnels that cross the border u but also defensive tunnels and logistics tunnels um that provided uh the real underpinning if you will uh of this war and the reason why the resistance was able to fight for two years um and could still fight today is because of that tunnel apparatus. Muhammad Sinoir also um was in charge of taking care of the captured Israeli soldier and that's when they uh founded the shadow unit which became uh a unit that was uh secretive until uh until the the middle 10 the middle of the 2010s um 2016 it was unveiled.
Uh but of course during this uh past two years of war um the shadow unit really uh came out of the shadows and after holding all of the prisoners um that were captured uh throughout the war and even though there was um uh offers of bounties uh on all of the leaders and that there was uh Netanyahu's $5 million for anyone who would give um information about where captives were. um $5 million and safe passage out of Gaza and no, they didn't get one uh phone call on that front. Um so the shadow unit set up everything that uh Muhammad Sinoir touched um became an important part um of the trajectory of the Casam Brigades. Those tunnel operations, the success of those tunnel operations really uh shaped the strategy of the Casam Brigades going forward.
He also had a keen eye for counter intelligence that you know from his brother. Um he was there was numerous attempts on his life, assassinations um really uncountable uh number of them. But in 2014, um after one assassination attempt, the Cassam brigades led Israel to believe that he had been killed in that assassination, which really freed him up for um the years between the 2014 war and the 2021 war, uh where Israel thought that he was off um uh that he thought they thought he was dead. Um, also an assassination attempt in uh 2003 where Israel planted booby trap devices in the walls of his home in Conunus was outed uh by Kasam security and of course he's a key planner of the October 7th operation um to breach uh the wall and capture soldiers um and then of course the 2-year defense of Gaza that followed.
So um significant leader and the PFLP Abu Ali Mustafa Brigade saluting uh Muhammad Sinoir here with this martyr poster that came out this week. Um, the next one is Abu Odeta. And I said I did Abu Oda on the show uh last week, so I won't double down too much on that. But you can see we're looking at a martyr poster of um of Abu Oda and with uh his face revealed for the first time after his death. Um but of course his covered face in the background of that as well. Um the PFLP said the popular front mourns the leaders of the Alcasam brigades and affirms that their blood is the fuel for the contin continuation of the resistance and a curse that will burn the delusions of the occupier. We stress that the unity of blood and destiny in the field is the rock on which occupations conspiracies break.
The absence of these figures will not weaken the resistance but will beget generations capable of carrying the banner and continuing the struggle. um the the path of struggle and liberation. We pledge to them to the souls of the fighters that we will remain faithful to their commandments that our guns will continue to be raised side by side until victory and return and the liberation of Palestine from river to the sea. So again, the joint operations room that we saw operating together throughout the war um again operating in in this sphere uh as well saluting the leaders um all of one gun as the PFLP said. Um Islamic Jihad uh said the same thing that they were a beacon of light uh lighting the path for future generations.
The movement pledged that the blood of the fighters across all resistance factions will fuel the drive towards liberation. The popular resistance committee said about Abu Oda that he was the voice of the oppressed people and the valiant resistance who became an icon of the oppressed, the revolutionaries and the mujaheden of the world. Um the DFLP also offered their condolences um saying that they reaffirmed the commitment to the martyrs and the unity of our people and resistance in the trench in one trench of the common struggle. And I think that's always an important thing to um to highlight because um the major uh split in Palestinian unity is but not between the different political factions. It's between the Palestinian Authority, who is a collaboration organization, and the Palestinian resistance.
And each of these factions underscore that in every um military action and also in their rhetorical actions in this case. Um the next slide we can see the PFLP this week also um actually last week uh announced their martyrs from the battle of Al Axa flood. They said that our martyrs are the beacon of liberation and return. They are the eagles of the glorious October 7th epic. Um, and these are fighters from the West Bank, Gaza, and Lebanon. In Lebanon, a number of senior leaders were assassinated. Most notably, uh, Muhammad Halo Wash, who was the commander and central committee member who was assassinated in Lebanon on the Lebanon Syria road with a couple of his comrades in August of 2025. The PFLP said their blood will become a testament to the great truth that martyrdom is a deeper presence in the collective consciousness of our people and our nation.
And that the martyr has become an idea that never fades, a legacy that flows through the veins of the resistance, becoming a seed that sprouts a thousand fighters and a resounding voice that awakens an entire nation. The PFLP did acknowledge um their fallen fighters during the war, something that Kasam um did not do. Uh Islamic Jihad did not do either. Um but this is the first comprehensive um accounting for the PFLP of their fighters lost. And of course their fighters, they lost many fighters in Lebanon u during the Lebanon front uh of this war. Um the next one is the Casam Brigades uh martyr poster for their top leaders um that says we will continue the path and we will not stop the march. Um and it's important to note that these are all of the significant leaders Muhammad Dave in the center there but all of their um top founding leaders that were killed in this war.
Um but it hasn't uh destroyed the group neither the resistance group as my uh EP segments on this show for the past two years have clearly shown. Um but also uh after the war Hamas is uh has internal elections prepared for later this month. Um they intend to hold those elections uh for leadership positions in Gaza, the West Bank and abroad for the Shura Council and the Pilot Bureau, the political bureau. And the movement confirms that Gaza is fully prepared to participate in the electoral process. Communication among the leadership remains intact despite Israeli aggression aimed at it for two years. All vacancies resulting from the assassination of commanders that you see here uh on screen have been filled and were filled immediately.
Um something that we've known from the past 2 years of experience but um just to put a fine point on that that the um assassinations for example of Muhammad Sinoir um happened months before the ceasefire. So the battle continued without any appreciable difference uh in command. the same with Muhammad Dave who was killed um the summer before in July of 2024. There was no um way to see that these crucially important leaders um were no longer at the helm and that the resistance group and its military formation was able to immediately rep um um replace those who were killed. And that is the militant structure, the armylike structure that the Cassam Brigades set up. Um, and it was um something that allowed them to foil all of Israel's um attempts to destroy and to claim victory uh in the genocide in Gaza.
And just a note that um Netanyahu talked about the strength of Kasam despite the loss of these leaders um when he went to the the US uh at the end of December and he went to meet with Trump and Mara Lago um and he talked about the fact that um that there's 60,000 rifles held in the hands of Casam fighters uh in Gaza. He said that there's 20,000 fighters still remain with 60,000 weapons, meaning that disarming them uh is to take the weapons away from them. They still have hundreds of kilometers of terror tunnels as he describes them. Uh terrors for Israeli forces for sure. Um and Hamas refuses to disarm. So Trump uh when he was speaking with Netanyahu at Mara Lago said if they do not disarm, it will be terrible for them.
It is going to be really bad. They signed an agreement and Israel cannot be blamed. There are other countries ready to enter and eliminate them, which we know is not true. Uh, and if it is true, it's not going to happen. Israel couldn't do it in two years with $25 billion of US um support. And it's unclear how um a smaller force would be able to do that. Um, but they're still living that fantasy. So, just thought I'd bring you that. Um the next one is uh uh a poster a salute to uh Abu Ala here saying you are the your voice will remain an inspiration to our nation imbuing peoples with dignity and pride and you can see uh Jerusalem on there um along with the kafia dove for people who are listening uh these are posters that we've been looking at from the resistance groups.
Um the next one um is a poster that Kasam made for um the new Abu Odeta who spoke uh last week and if you didn't see the uh resistance report segment on there you can always find those on our YouTube page and there's a resistance report playlist to get caught up if you missed it I won't re um retravel the ground on Abu Beta um but that's the last uh segment that you'll find on our YouTube channel if you want to watch that. Um this was from his speech uh acknowledging the death of Abu Oba. They are continuing the name of Abu Obeda. Um, and this uh poster says uh has a boiled down version of what uh Abu Obeda said in the speech that indeed the blood of our people, our fighters and our leaders that was spilled on the soil of Gaza is a charge laid before all and a call for the Islamic nation to rise to shake off the dust and to mobilize in support of Palestine and Alexa for which Gaza has offered the most precious of what it possesses.
excused before God that it fulfilled its duty and continues to do so in defense of the most just cause. Um so Abu Oba knew Abu Obeda's speech um he did really well. Uh it it was an excellent speech under um uh enormous shoes to fill. Obviously everybody knows that the uh role that uh Abu Oba played not just as spokesperson but as the commander of the military media apparatus which is what got all the videos out under uh very difficult circumstances without being exposed. Never was the military media apparatus exposed including uh in the assassination of Abu Oda who was assassinated while he was visiting uh his family and not uh un did not lead to the unraveling of the military media apparatus. Um so uh an important note there and one more too this week that the Kasam brigades anna um marked the 30th anniversary of the death of Kasam's first engineer uh Yaha Aayash with the quote they a quote from Yaha Aash uh who was killed in January 1996.
His quote is that they can uproot my body from Palestine, but I want to plant in the people something that they cannot uproot. Um, and sure enough, 30 years later, that uh is very true. Um, Yaha Aash was um called the engineer. He also called the ghost like all Casam uh commanders at the time. The Israelis could never uh seem to find him uh until he was assassinated in a booby trapped cell phone by a collaborator, which underscored uh for Kasam the need for their counterintelligence operations that Yaha Sinir uh and Muhammad Sinar were so crucial in. Um the key with Yaha Aayash is he was a bomb builder and he taught people how to build the bomb. So he moved the Cassam brigades from operatives um into the beginning of a military force that uh could arm itself uh in and carry out resistance operations with homemade uh supplies.
And that knowledge that knowhow that he brought was spread throughout the Casam Brigades um and really perfected within the Casam Brigades. I don't think he could have known in the 1990s um that only six or seven years after um he came up with these homemade um explosives that that they would form the foundation of the Cassam Brigade's rocket uh apparatus. Um and the general theory of uh the resistance is only as large as the the number of fighters who are actually armed. and Casam carried that out um not just through the bombs that they executed within Israel, but also using smaller portions of that to example create grenades so that fighters could have grenades in a time when there was a shortage of weapons.
Um and putting a weapon in the hand of every fighter is what grew the Cassam brigades into a national army. So the spread of that knowledge is really critical. Um and Yaha Aayash is um um is a mountain of a figure in the um growth of the Casam brigades. And I did mention that I was going to mention some ceasefire um status updates. Feels like we should do this every week just because uh it's clearly not a ceasefire. But since the ceasefire went into effect, um what is it? 91 days now since the ceasefire went into effect, more than 420 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed. 145 of them are children. 1,200 have been wounded in upwards of 1,000 military violations, 300 of which were direct fire at civilians, 54 armored vehicle incursions beyond the yellow line.
um 455 strikes on homes, air strikes and artillery, tank fire. Um this is all in addition to the demolition that's happening of homes and frankly entire neighborhoods on the eastern side of the yellow line. The government media office in Gaza said that only 42% of aid trucks that had been agreed upon have entered. Um and even more critically, only 10% of the fuel um that was agreed upon has entered. And of course that fuel is what is necessary for um indigenous rebuilding in Gaza which has already begun um but is seriously curtailed by uh a lack of fuel. Um the crossings still remain closed. Uh the siege still remains on as Norah reported in the newscast uh aimed now at um NOS's that work in Gaza. Um and the tents and mobile homes that were agreed upon um have still not arrived despite the catastrophic winter conditions that we have seen in Gaza and people are still in um deteriorating tents.
So Israel not holding up their end of the ceasefire of course as we all knew would be the case. Um on the um uh January 1st summary uh report by the IDF on uh the year that had passed, they boasted about 20,900 air strikes. Uh 19,530 of those were in Gaza. Um the remainder in Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Yemen, and the West Bank. So this is something they want people to know. 91 soldiers were killed in 2025. 821 were seriously wounded. um 81 by the resistance in Gaza and six by fighters in the West Bank. Um also just to note uh the IDF boasted about arresting 7,400 Palestinians in the West Bank in the year 2025 and also bragged as they do uh about stealing money from people in the West Bank. They bragged about stealing $16,480,000 shekels from Palestinian homes, $5 million US stolen from private homes in Gaza and from um money exchanges in uh the West Bank.
Um so that is the resistance report for day 825 of Israel's genocidal war on Gaza. Hey, hey, hey.
