You are watching and listening to the electronic interifodada. I am John Elmer. This is the resistance report for day 762 and it's day 28 of the ceasefire such as it is. This word ceasefire, I mean, we're using it because there's not a lot of other words to use, but of course it's uh it's definitely not a ceasefire. There have been 190 ceasefire violations by the Israelis since October 11th. 240 people killed, at least 80 of them children, 607 injuries. So, um, those kind of tallies, uh, if you were to put them on the Israeli side would be, uh, you know, the United Nations Security Council would be meeting, uh, to talk about it. But when it happens in Gaza, um, it's just a sidebar. Um, the bodies of 22 Israeli captives have been exchanged. Six captives remain in Gaza. um 270 Palestinian bodies have returned uh and only 78 of the 270 have been identified um because of the condition of their bodies. Uh the torture, the way that Israel uh tortured and killed them, but then how they left them after they were dead makes it nearly impossible for people to identify in Gaza. You can hear reports of families trying to do that. The Ministry of Health is setting up tents that um are showing media of the decomposing bodies, hoping that somebody in Gaza recognizes their family member by their teeth or by some kind of feature uh in their skulls. Uh just really grim uh the reality of that which of course doesn't get covered in uh the Western media either. The Cassam Brigades released a video yesterday showing how they handle the bodies, the bodies of soldiers, their IDed uh they were buried and handled respectfully. The bodies were um of captured Israeli soldiers and the juxaposition between the way that uh Kasam treated the bodies of the Israelis really is stark. Um the bodies from Israel are so mangled and disfigured that like I said identification is impossible. Um the military used an incident last week where uh Casam rearied an Israeli captive and Israeli drone surveillance um saw them reberry them and the Casam brigade spoke out about that and said that um they that this was a deception because in the two previous handovers, Israel had targeted the site of the handover um added it to their target bank and and hit and bombed um u such as a ceasefire, an Israeli style ceasefire. Um so for the third handover, um Kasam rearied um the soldier in a different spot to show that the Israelis were doing this. The Israelis kicked up a fuss about it. And it was one of several reasons that they uh that was the pretext used to then again bomb Gaza overnight, killing more than a hundred people a week and a half ago. half of them were children sleeping at home in their beds and a number of them were resistance uh figures who were involved in the handovers. I've said this um going back to November 2023 that the handover um of the bodies this point of the ceasefire is very dangerous for the resistance and it's the reason why in the negotiated deals all the way since uh October 2023 the deal was that there would be no overflight by Israeli surveillance as the handover of the bodies were happening. Um and Israel reneged on that uh part of the agreement as well. Um, so the Cassam video showed uh the deception, but it also showed the way that they handle the bodies. It showed them digging up the bodies. It showed them putting them into a body bag, showed them marking their names on the body bags with their ID numbers. Just all things that the Israelis uh wouldn't do. And at the end of the video, uh, Kasam said basically, "You don't understand Israel's and its ways doesn't understand, um, how we treat prisoners, how we treat, um, the bodies of captives. Uh, it has no understanding of that because it's such a brutal uh, society. Um, and it was an interesting point. I don't think we can show the video on this program, so I wanted to just give you a highlight. Indeed, the IDF continues to operate on the eastern side of the yellow line, posting videos of their accomplishments. Um, proud to be still carrying out destruction of tunnels um and houses ma whole neighborhoods uh that are on the eastern side of the yellow line which was not what was agreed to in the ceasefire. um bulldozers, tunnel demolitions, excavators. Basically, is the Israeli military is treating this like it's Gideon's chariots on the other side of the yellow line. Um and they are reshaping Gaza as they're doing this apparently with full backing of the United States Central Command who is um the monitor so-called of this uh ceasefire, but apparently with the uh support of Turkey, Qatar and Egypt as well. So um these points of the ceasefire definitely need to be addressed. We will track these in the coming weeks as we have in the past four weeks. But today we're going to look at some recent messages between the resistance in Gaza and particularly the Yemeni armed forces who for two years have executed a successful naval blockade of Israel along with the delivery of hundreds of ballistic missiles um hundreds more drones um operations in support of Gaza. So uh Sariah aluds this week released a video. We can go to that now. number one uh we're seeing here um this is a message from Saral Kuds um to the effectively to the axis of resistance that is the head uh on the screen right now that you're seeing secretary general of Islamic Jihad Siad Nala um that is the Palestine to ballistic missile that's the Iraqi drones that's the sniper uh units working with Kasam in the Gaza Strip there you see the launch of IRGC missiles during True Promise That's the drones launched and then the street-to- streetet battles that Sariah and um the Cassam brigades uh carried out together. Um so it was just a an opportunity to um to send solidarity. There's Hzbollah and there's the Iranians again uh during True Promise. We'll I'll go back to a couple of these uh and we'll watch it again because there's a voice over I want to give you. Um, but these are scenes that I've shown you on this program uh for the last two years. Um, and the group's communications throughout the battle um has been something really interesting and we always um bring it to attention because uh it's been an important part. Maybe we could loop that one more time tomorrow because I want to give the uh voice over. So what you see is Zad Nakala there giving a speech and he says I extend my greetings to our great people to our brothers who stood with us as fighters and supporters in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Gaza, as well as to our brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran for their historic and distinguished role in supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance. The great axis of resistance has stood in solidarity with and in support of the Palestinian resistance. This stance is not new, nor is it limited to the days of this war. God willing, we will move from one victory to another to another, no matter how long this war lasts. So that was Zad Nal. He is the uh secretary general of the Islamic Jihad movement. He's also the founder of Sarah Aluds. He founded it in Gaza um before the uh first inifada. That was Zead Nakala's role. He's now in exile. Um but you can see the fighters on the streets uh Sariah fighters operating uh handinand glove with the Cassam Brigades. So look at a couple of the stills. Number two we'll show you is um um there you see the armbands of uh the Cassam brigades and the fighters uh of a sniper team u putting both the armbands of Saral Kuds and the Cassam brigades um with this Al Ghoul sniper operation that we were seeing. So he was saying our brothers both in Gaza and outside of Gaza. And this photo uh of this operation was uh showing those sniper teams. And again, we saw these joint operations. They're a core part of the resistance. And we saw them all through the war right from the first day. Sural Kuds was on the ground on October 7th before any other group. They were part of the original um the original raid in the morning. Um, so just to see them uh throughout the war has been part of something we've covered on this show and people are familiar with. Um, if you look at the next one, we just saw the Palestine 2 ballistic missile and this is um the with the Kafia warhead and that warhead is a 250 kilo to 500 kilo warhead. Um that missile is um travels at hypersonic speed 20,000 kilometers an hour covers the distance between Yemen and Gaza 2150 km range and they struck deep into Israeli territory. They were targeting um airports as part of an air blockade when the escalation in Gaza after the uh ceasefire in January happened. a uh Yemeni armed forces expanded from the naval blockade to an aerial blockade as well and that was um a targeting of Bengurian airport which we can see in this next slide. People may remember I broke this down on the show but that that tower there is the main tower on the left. We're looking at the airfield of Bengurian airport in Tel Aviv, the main commercial airport, international airport uh in Israel. And on the left side of the screen you can see the uh air traffic control tower um and you can see the missile strike inside the facility. So from 2100 kilometers away um through four layers of air defense uh multi-billion dollar air defense built put together with the United States um couldn't stop these uh Iranian missiles and later in the war the warhead on that Palestine 2 ballistic missile became a cluster munition and so on the re-entry vehicle the re-entry vehicle of the missile uh broke apart into a cluster munition um which required multiple many uh uh interceptor missiles. And those interceptor missiles are um depending on which uh air defense we're talking about, we're talking anywhere from a few million um to tens of millions. The THAAD um the terminal high velocity um uh high air defense u system, the American system that they moved in there, those are $15 million a missile. And multiple times during the war, including on this attack on Bengurian, multiple of those interceptors were fired. And that was uh something that wasn't sustainable for the United States to keep going with. Um on this hit on the airport, Abu Obeda wrote that uh glory to Yemen, Palestine's equal as it continues to fi to defy the most brutal forces of oppression and refuses to submit or be defeated def despite the aggression it is being subjected to. because uh this is me now, not Abu Ba. Um the Israelis struck uh in Yemen many many times throughout the war and of course there was the American war uh on Yemen as well during this period. Back to Abu Oba, it it escalates the attacks on the heart of the deformed Zionist entity surpassing the most advanced systems in the world to accurately hit its targets. May God guide your aim, bless your struggle, and accept your sacrifices. You are from us and we are from you. Abu Beta said at the time about that operation. Um this next video came out um during uh in the past few months. You can see uh the fighters. This is the fighters on the ground uh deciding these operations on their own. This is a rocket unit that has attach a fixed stickers um to the rockets uh that will be launched in this case from Jibalia. They say dedicated to the free and brave people of Yemen. You can see um uh Abdul Malikal Houthi uh there. And then you can see Yahasari and um Abu Hamza on that poster there up on the wall inside the rocket unit. Um I I'll break down that poster more uh in a moment, but there you can see um Abdul Malik Houthi on that uh missile sticker. So it's happening on all levels from the senior leadership to the uh fighters themselves. Um the voiceover on this video is Abu Hamza um and it's a quote that we knew from him when he said, "We extend our salutations to the great leader Abdul Malik Badin al- Houthi um whose detailed speeches about the battle, its course, and its consequences we as the Palestinian resistance listen to attentively as if he were present with us on the front lines in the heart of the confrontation in Gaza in a sincere expression of his authenticity. and Arab identity. We also extend our salute to the proud mountain voice of Yaha Sari. Um and he said, "We also we salute the Yemeni people in all arenas, especially those in Al-Sabain Square whose voices echo with strength." Those were those massive millionman demonstrations that we saw every week uh every week throughout the war, no matter the weather, no matter the circumstance. Um if we look at number six now here tomorrow. Yeah you can see this. So it says one voice one goal and that's Abu Hamza. Um that's Naji Abu Safe Abu Hamza. He was assassinated in March. Uh this video is from after that it's saluting him. Um in response to seeing this video uh that was published in the spring um Abdul Malik al- Houthi said uh in response to Saral Kud's message he said uh in response to the message from the fighters in Sural Kuds we convey on behalf of ourselves our people and our fellow fighters from the armed forces abundant greetings we ask Allah to grant them and all the fighters in the Gaza trip Gaza Strip support victory and steadfastness. So the dialogue was happening in two ways all throughout the war. Um and that was important to note. And just the other day uh the PFLP put out a poster um that we can go to here. Um that says uh this is from the popular front for the liberation of Palestine through the Abu Ali Mustapa brigades. Um it says a salute to the axis of Palestine. Uh of course an illusion to the axis of resistance. And you can see the Hezbollah flag, the Iranian flag, the Ameni flag around the Kafia. Um these kind of posters um published throughout the war. Um I just wanted to bring those to your attention um that have come in the last uh couple of weeks. They also um did this throughout the war. In this next slide, you can see it's a martyr poster for the many armed forces chief of staff, Major General Muhammad Alamari, who was assassinated in August. Um he has been the chief of staff of the many armed forces since 2016. He was key in the development of the organization in the military capabilities um and the military manufacturing as well and of course uh endured the uh US Saudi backed war um in those in that time. Um and he was assassinated in August in a strike on uh what was otherwise um the government um of Ansar Allah in Yemen. They Israelis assassinated the prime minister, the minister of information, the minister of foreign affairs, the minister of economy, minister of culture and tourism, pure civilian targets. uh minister of agriculture, youth and sports, social affairs and labor, justice, electricity, the director of the prime minister's office. Um this was a a a brutal and cowardly attack on the government uh ministers um of the Ansarah movement. Um and on this poster the PFLP say the popular front uh well they say in the obitu obituary statement that um that he ascended in the field of honor and heroism defending his homeland and supporting Gaza. The text on the poster says, "The popular front for the liberation of Palestine extends its sincere greetings and heartfelt sympathy to the proud Yemeni people, to the brothers in an in the Ansar Allah movement, uh to the Yemeni political leadership, um to the many political leadership, to the valiant Yemeni armed forces, and to the family of the commander on the martyrdom of the prominent military leader, Major General Muhammad Abdul Karim Algamari, the chief of staff of the many armed forces, who ascended in the field of honor and heroism along with a group of his heroic comrades uh in the government. Uh foremost among them his heroic 13-year-old son, typical of Israel, they killed uh his 13-year-old son as well following a cowardly Zionist assassination crime. and after a life full of dedication spent in the field of sacred duty while performing his role in protecting his homeland and supporting Gaza and adding a new page of glory and dignity to the record of martyrs. The popular front expresses its deep solidarity with the Yemeni people who made great sacrifices deme uh defending the dignity of the nation and the values that unite the free people of the world. We are confident that the path of the martyrs will remain illuminated and that the flame of resistance will stay burning as long as there is a heart in the nation beating for freedom and dignity. So um a martyr poster of substance uh given by the PFLP and all groups supported this. Kasam uh put out a poster at the same time. Sural Kuds put out a poster. this kind of acknowledgment that they were fighting the same battle. Um, which we can see in this next map number nine. Um, this is the range of Yemeni operations. You can see at the bottom that's the Babel Mandab uh the straight into the Red Sea where 30% of uh global container shipping um happens. The Red Sea became virtually an entire uh blackout. Um it was a naval blockade that was extremely effective dating back to October 2023 when um the Yemeni armed forces instituted this um and still to today it hasn't recovered. Um although the Amenes both all three times of the ceasefire, the Amenes immediately observed the ceasefire um they have a proper understanding of ceasefire unlike the Israelis and they did stop their fire um during those times. And effectively the blockade you can see up at the top of the Red Sea which runs um sort of from the bottom right to the upper left of that picture at the top there is the port of Elat. And the port of Elat was effectively shuttered, effectively bankrupt um by uh October of 2023. It took some time uh to fully uh be shuttered. Um but it was an effective naval blockade that required um global shipping to respond um and rroot uh around uh the Red Sea. So, uh, the Amenes from their, um, positions along the coast there in the Red Sea, um, were able to, uh, carry out that naval blockade. Um, and you can see each on this map. I've shown it to you before, but you can see the range of each of their, um, the missile range. So, the widest circle that you see, that's the Palestine 2. Um, the inner circle is the Yafa drone. Uh, a Yemeni designed drone that was target that was used to target Israel. many many times. Um if we go to uh number 10, you can see the um the tallies. Uh this is almeadin put together this uh visual, but it's a visual based on a statement by the Yemeni armed forces on their support in the Gaza war, which I will read to you now. It says, "Our dear Yemeni people have moved forward to wage the battle in support of the Palestinian people and the steadfast fighters in the Gaza Strip in defense of the nation and its identity. They have offered money despite the siege, made sacrifices despite the wounds, and prioritized the oppressed in Gaza over themselves. The many armed forces in all military formations, land, sea, and air, have been at the forefront, serving as a spearhead in support operations and engaging in direct battles with the criminal enemy. The total number of operations carried out by the Yemeni armed forces reached 758 operations uh executed using 1835 uh cruise and cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, drones and unmanned naval vehicles. The naval forces carried out operations against Israeli ships and those violating the Yemeni ban on Israeli navigation totaling 346 operations extending from the Red Sea, Babo Mandab, the Gulf of Adden, uh the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean um during which more than 228 vessels were targeted. targeted, not hit um because the warning shots were uh usually enough to stop the the shipping. And if we see on the next slide here, you can see the tally um of the MQ9 Reaper drones that they downed. Our air defenses, the many armed forces said, were able during the battle of Alaxa flood to shoot down 22 American MQ9 Reaper reconnaissance aircraft um launch 40 interception operations against enemy aircraft in various formations including strategic bombers. Um using 50 more than 57 missiles. So that's during the American war, the 52day war. Um that was from March to May this year. uh thwarting a number of aggressive operations by the US and forcing many of the enemy's war formations to retreat. Um now those are $30 million Reaper drones that were dropped um 22 of them. Um we also know that the US lost three fighter jets. They shot down one of their fighter jets and two fell off the deck of the um aircraft carriers that were in the area um during during attacks by um the many armed forces during the chaos uh of trying to defend their warships. They shot down their own planes. They dropped their own planes into the water. Um and the United Na United States Navy literally spent multiple billions of dollars uh fighting um against the Amenes in this battle. Um Abdel Malik Alhouthi said on Thursday of last week that the American and British aggression against Yemen intensified in partnership with Israel, launching nearly 3,000 air strikes and deploying five aircraft carriers. Yet they failed to stop Yemeni operations. Many ballistic missiles were used in naval warfare for the first time in history. Um shocking the Americans with their precision and impact. American aircraft carriers once a symbol of power became a burden and were forced to retreat from the confrontation zone. The United States Navy itself admitted that it was a battle unlike any other since World War II. That's Abdel Malik al-Huthi in his speech last week. And all of this was made possible by the um advances in manufacturing, local indigenous manufacturing uh in Yemen. And we can see that in the next video uh here where um Abdul Malik Alhouthi describes he says Yemen is the foremost country among Arab states in war production and military industry. Our country's military industry produces pistols and clashnikovs, artillery and sniper weapons uh to unmanned aircraft and various types of missiles whose production in our country is on a continuous path of development. And there are major achievements in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles with ongoing excellence, creativity, and improvement. We ha what we have achieved on this level is unprecedented. You can see the missiles in this video that we're watching. That's the unmanned um unmanned uh surface vehicles. That's the YAFA drone that you're looking at there. Um that that can reach and and did reach Tel Aviv. Uh broke through especially late in the war. Broke through numerous times right up to the right up to the ceasefire. Um those drones were effectively hitting in Alat in the final days um up to October 8th. um were the last ones. In October 8th, there was four drones fired in a single hour and three of them penetrated um Israeli air defenses. Um so uh that is um a significant development from the Yemenes. Um and they showed that uh during this war um Abdul Malik al-Huthi said this orientation must continue to keep pace with developments and events in Palestine and the wider region. We will remain at full readiness to return to operations and to higher levels of escalation if the Israeli enemy resumes its genocidal aggression and siege of the Palestinian people. So that is the resistance report for day 762 of this war. I am reporting this on November the 6th.
