Qassam ambushes Israeli troops in Netzarim corridor, with Jon Elmer

we'll go to the north um we're going to focus in on tahaa there uh in the western Southwestern edge of Gaza City Taha has been in these reports for months now uh fighting valiantly uh as everything around them is being destroyed then it's a rim corridors is again it's a key Corridor like the Philadelphia Corridor that didn't just come out of this war this is one of the fingers that Ariel Chiron uh planned for Gaza from the 1970s to to put these positions uh in to put civilian positions in to make them military installations and make them justifiable um by using human Shields using civilians as they do in the Gaza envelope uh they did that in the narim corridor too and because of that narim Corridor has been a sight of struggle it was a sight of struggle in the first inata uh in the second inata in many ways the spreading of the second inata from the alaxa mosque uh throughout Palestine was uh with the murder of uh Muhammad Alura uh the young boy who was killed in the narim junction on uh International television and really um was the spark that really uh carried out the inata that would then last for uh four and a half years or so until the Israelis left the Gaza Strip so uh successful operations um during that period during the second and Tata resistance along the corridor um everything from kids throwing stones to the more qualitative operations of the cassan Bri Gades at the time uh made it impossible for Israel to be in Gaza so when they come back to Gaza in 2023 2024 they're taking back these positions that they had strategically used um for decades before and we predicted that that would happen early on in this show um because that's the way the whole uh of the Gaza Strip is set up the concentrations of population are trapped in in between what used to be Israeli settlements and those settlements cut off uh each area of Gaza and made it more manageable for military operations and that's what we're seeing now why the Israelis don't want to leave the corridors uh in these U ceasefire negotiations U because they want to divide up the Gaza Strip and in the face of the defeat that they are uh experiencing here um to hold on to these two pieces of territory um so that they can continue the war indefinitely is their plan as we know the ceasefire negotiations critically involve a clause to resume the war so not really ceasefire negotiations uh at all so this is in the narim corridor I wanted to set this operation up because uh this is an operation by Kasam number 10 here tomor Behind Enemy Lines uh Fighters were able to penetrate uh into the core oror we see them um this is this is the the editing of these videos which is another thing that's improved throughout this war they're making incredible uh video edits here they have a Sizzle reel that starts this operation which is the corridor of death operation um they're showing here the albara mosque we remember the albara mosque five-stage ambush from uh a week or two ago um and it's saying on the screen that a group of four Fighters was able to enter the narim ACT in which dozens of soldiers were present they raided an enemy Force detonated two anti-personnel uh explosives versus two Jeeps um and so these Fighters um are able to get Behind Enemy Lines here we haven't seen an operation of this type but this is the kind of operation that they'll expect uh if they hold in these corridors just like in 2004 in the Philadelphia Corridor uh the operations in the Philadelphia Corridor develop uh the longer the Israelis are there so see these Fighters moving into position and it's key to note here that these are new recruits the Fighter's going to tell us right here um he says we are the camb brigade's 2024 recruits the recruiting class of 2024 will be a horror for the entity something unlike they've never seen before today we dedicate this operation to the soul of our martyr ishma hania and the soul of all of our Martyrs so that's a fighter who was not in Kasam until this year um these four Fighters it seem seems uh are new recruits carrying out this operation which is um a devastating operation psychologically devastating operation for the Israelis because you can see here they're targeting a Supply Route uh that the Israelis feel very comfortable on um we see the fighters here wiring up the two anti-personnel devices the television and the Radia the cam built um antipersonnel um improvised explosive devices you can see the fighter setting it up here so they're on this Supply Corridor that the Israelis feel so comfortable at this point on this Corridor that they're driving in soft skinned vehicles uh we saw that truck there um we're going to see Jeeps be targeted as you saw from the sizzle reel and you can see a pickup truck in the middle so there's the two explosive devices um ready to meet this Convoy these two Jeeps here these two Hummers are going to be the target of it and um we have a spotter in the window and the fighters in a separate building so we have four fighters in two buildings spread out one camera person right in the front to capture that operation detonated um expertly this uh operation was carried out extremely well um so for the fact that they're including new recruits I mean I think there's a lot to say about that um but to carry out an operation of this style u and quality uh the Israelis admitted two dead um in one in in each of these two Jeeps that were hit that we're seeing here um the the use of new recruits is something that of course we expected there's an entire Generation Um of of of Youth watching these Fighters uh in their minds heroically defend um their Homeland uh and people want to join people want to fight um and people who aren't teenagers who who were not in the cassam Bri Gades before and have had their lives wiped out their jobs destroyed their families killed living in tents of course there's going to be recruits um for there's going to be more recruits than uh than Fighters lost by an order of magnitude which is um something we've expected all along but to see this in this way in the narim corridor with a qualitative operation like this uh is just very significant very significant operation you can see the Israelis uh again they get a free pass on their wounded soldiers the prophet says not to attack wounded soldiers and wounded soldiers do not um to not get attacked let's look at it one more time tomorrow because it's such an excellent operation so you can see it starts here with the sizzle reel so the editing is just is impressive you can see the multi-stage uh use of the corridor uh Supply route you can see an attack helicopter in the air um we're going to see tactical Drone footage again being used here here um if we look uh on this I'm going to pay uh more attention to these triangles that they're showing you because they're showing you uh important things the University College of applied sciences the Engineering University is going to be shown here they up on the left and you can see it's just wasted um which is just really devastating to see um these universities when you see them in this way so they can see the Ambush Zone there and the Supply route from drones so tactical deployment of drones consistently which is something that has been increasing as the war has gone on we didn't see that too much early on in the war um but lately in the last couple of months we're seeing tactical drone deployments in all of these crucial Ambush operations that are being planned um so this is footage of Fighters getting Behind Enemy Lines here um and this again is the fighter saying that he is a new recruit and they put that uh cut into the video and there's uh I think maybe in the discussion we could talk about that um what it says that they did that because they obviously choose to let people know this they choose to let the Israelis know um and this is their way of communicating with the world so um they could have left that detail out that they were new recruits because there's nothing in this operation that would indicate their new recruits they're skillful Fighters um but you can see the type of vehicles on this Supply Route um to CH to choose this Supply Route is um is a qualitative operation the nerim corridor is under uh standoff fire rocket uh and artillery mortars constantly uh but this is the first time we've seen Fighters penetrate into the corridor and as long as the Israelis stay in this Corridor this is the type of operations um that they're going to be subjected to um so the resistance has a say when the Israelis say we're staying in the narim corridor we're staying in the Philadelphia corridor um the resistance gets a vote on that uh as well the Israelis can't just decide these things because uh the cost to the Israelis to be in these areas um is raised by the resistance and once um the Israelis pull out of the other areas of Gaza and leave themselves just in the buffer zone and in the corridors um they're more susceptible to these operations obviously um the longer the battle goes on and that jeep is just accelerating there into the BM um and the second Jeep you're seeing here get hit so both the IEDs the Radia is an um is a unidirectional IED and the television is a omnidirectional so they use both anti-personnel uh weapons they didn't normally you'd think they would use a shaad efp um but because they're soft-skinned uh Vehicles here they're again choosing the appropriate weapon for the operation it made more sense to use an anti- Personnel weapon because these vehicles are not uh up armored vehicles and so they're choosing the right weapon um they're not using just what they have um and it worked to devastating effect and here's the fighters actually I didn't mention this the first time around but you would hear it if the audio is in but these Fighters fire on uh the immediate aftermath of the Ambush so you can see that they're in position to fire on um the evacuation of the wounded troops with like there's something like 16 is in that scene with the troops um and they don't they don't Target them I know a lot of people um in the comments question that uh decision it's something um that they're standing on principle look at that I mean they're within the fighters are still within that Corridor and you've got just a whole Gaggle um of soldiers carrying stretchers there so impressive operation in the narim corridor um and and Kasam did uh number 11 here tomara Kasam uh put out a poster here which links and why I did the introduction to the nerim corridors because this is a a telling uh poster that Kasam put out that quotes uh Abu obeda uh the spokesperson for Kasam on July 7th saying that narim will be a corridor of death and Terror for the enemy um the enemy occupying Soldiers the enemy will will emerge defeated as they did before defeated as they they did before in Gaza driven out of Gaza driven out of these corridors but also just a small note here it's uh that sign is into a a helmet but narim Corridor checkpoint when it began uh was that's what it looked like there was a sign and it was a tire this is what checkpoints looked like when I got to Palestine at the beginning and in the second inata before they built the wall uh many of the checkpoints were just uh signs in concrete in a tire like a tire they fill it up with concrete put a signpost so this is this is there's layers to these uh resistance media Communications and this poster uh is one of those layers because it's referring back to Abu oeda threatening the corridor it's hearkening back to well the operation because you can see the Jeep in the background so it's specific to that operation um but then it's got that signpost that everyone in Gaza knows because you couldn't get through Gaza without going through the narim corridor and the narim junction um was a checkpoint that uh was hell for uh Palestinians so just this kind of communication with the outside world with gazin with the International Community with each other um all going on uh consistently and now with number 12 we have uh this video took some time to release this is from uh last month's battle in Shaya and it's a twin it's a joint operation Kasam and S kuds you see the fighters here with two Yasin 105s um they're talking about the operation um as they're loading up and heading out you're going to see two armored vehicles and this is going to be a Twin Strike these Fighters are both going to fire at the same time um and fire accurately at the same time um some sometimes these videos come out after especially from Shaya they operational Security in the battle of sha was such that uh if we remember back Kasam released all their videos after um the main uh Invasion the second invasion of Shaya so the fighters are coming out here and the one fighter says um he says be careful of the drones he says stay near the wall be careful of the drones the first fighter is going to pop out and fire um and you can see the two armored vehicles um right there um a twin operation if you fire two at the same vehicle um they're even more an even more potent weapon um because the armor is pierced by the first round um and then these Fighters are going to go back um and the the audio is not in if you want to go to my Twitter to check out the the uncensored version these Fighters the joy in their voice and as they return to their base safely um the joy of their operation the uh you know just the depths of what they've gone through for the last uh 11 months you can it just oozes out uh when they carry out this operation as they both uh drop to the floor um crying and praying um uh it's just a a really potent uh video here that came from Shaya from last month that I just wanted to bring uh to show uh they released it this week it's not from uh July they released that video this week but it's from the battle uh in July so that is the Gaza Strip uh resistance report [Music]
