Fighters hand-deliver explosives to Israeli tanks invading Rafah, with Jon Elmer

we're g stop right up we'll start right off the top here with uh the IDF released a video of their metac units this week um this is IDF propaganda footage that they release and it says footage from life-saving IDF evacuation missions from the last week in Gaza IDF rescue helicopter squadrons medical core teams and technological Logistics director directorate and unit 669 have carried out dozens of evacuations of injured soldiers from areas of operations over this past week alone while providing Advanced life-saving Medical treatment and here's the kicker they say thousands of evacuations by air by vehicle by by air and by vehicle have been carried out since the beginning of the war so they're saying they've carried out thousands of evacuations of soldiers um injured Soldiers with life-threatening injuries um thousands is more than they have claimed officially in their statistics their statistics are about 1,700 wounded um and that number has barely moved since the new year when it was uh 1500 uh so they're clearly lying on a number of levels but that's an interesting statement to say that you've carried out thousands of evacuations um while only claiming 1,700 total injures troops and the evacuations uh the metac carry multiple soldiers in some cases they can carry up to six to eight soldiers um depending on the type of injury the type of uh helicopter or groundbased um evacuations so the number to say thousands you're talking about many many thousands uh because you can add you know you can assume a rough a rough estimate of two to five per evacuation so are they talking 10,000 uh troops in those evacuations that would be interesting it would be about 10 times the number that they say and of course just to to say the Israelis do have a high injury to uh death rate because they are very close to their hospitals uh in a way that most militaries aren't um so uh Medevac flight from Gaza to a hospital in southern Israel is uh a couple of minutes literally um that's something that is not true for most invading armies um but it is for Israel so they do have a high uh injury to death ratio um a little bit higher than some other militaries uh but still you're seeing uh you're seeing pieces of evidence that come out um that just demonstrate that they're hiding their casualties beyond what we're going to show here because we're going to show a few dozen videos to you here and we edit out the actual casualties of the soldiers but you can see and count in the number of operations that happened um just to note we're beginning we just passed 200 days of the ground War uh the longest war that Israel has fought since 1948 so let's move to Rafa here Rafa is in the South it's where uh the very south right along the border with Egypt and of course Raa has been talked about for many months about the invasion of Rafa because Rafa hosts about 1.5 million people uh before the beginning of the evacuation notices that the Israelis gave um and that was supposed to be the safe place in Gaza and now the safe place is under attack and Israel has said that the operation is limited they keep repeating that uh it's not a fullscale Invasion uh of Rafa there's only five brigades they just a little over a division when the initial battle plan had three divisions going in they split off those divisions and one went to zetune and one went to jabalia to fight uh further in the north so if we look at the first one from Rafa here tomorrow the um this this video came out yesterday we're going to show it first just because it's incredible so you see a fighter coming out of a tunnel here within I don't know 30 feet of a tank he jumps up with his shaah explosively formed penetrator the most devastating anti-armour weapon in the Kasam uh catalog he places it behind the back door of the tank we'll watch this one a few times because there's a lot of details that I want to focus in on but you can see him get down into the tunnel and you can see the explosion go off there as they're running away so we'll just Loop that back around so you see him come up the Fighter's got a helmet cam here he comes up checks the scene sees the tank right there this tunnel has been dug open this morning you can see his shadow he's now running with this heavy canister and he puts it one and a half meters behind the back door that is the optimal distance that they are trained with the shaaz 3 that's the distance that they want to be behind the tank um to uh place the device because the device is an explosively formed penetrator it's a shaped charge and it needs time and space um to fully form so there's some devices that we've seen them attach straight on the tank with this shaaz 3 they're looking to get a meter and a meter between a meter and a meter and a half away from the back of the tank at the back of the tank is the ammo storage the back of the tank is the back door where the crew of the tank is not the Infantry but the crew so the commander the driver the Gunners um are in the back of the tank the back of the tank is the weakest point of the vehicle so we're watching an obviously Brave fighter here but he's executing his operation to Precision he is waiting below the ground line until he sees that the the tanks Optics are pointed forward to him he's running it back he's got a helmet cam so at some point Cam's going to show us the the his camera you can see he's in green there um we saw his helmet camera and now we see his helmet camera again um so so they spliced his helmet camera out and at some point we're going to see him place that device at the back door of the tank um which will be incredible and that this is one of the things about these cassam videos if if they just released five more seconds on either side of these operations they could reanimate every single one of these operations so I think there's going to be a lot of film to work through when this war is over because Kasam has a lot uh of film to work with so you see him place it there he runs he's in a tank column so there's a tank behind him there he jumps down into the hole as if uh it looks like one of those slides when the airplane uh emergency slides he just but it's not but he acts like it's that uh that easy to do which it is clearly not so we'll watch it just one last time here he comes up with a shaaz 3 explosively formed penetrator built by the cassam Bri Gades over 25 years developed um and this is its main anti-tank weapon you can see the soldiers on top he's aims it at the back door presumably there's considerable destruction on this because blowing through the back door those two back let's watch it one more time the two back parts of the tank that you see that he runs up to you see those two back Parts at the very back of the tank that's ammo storage um so the ammo is stored in those compartments so if even if he misses the door he hits the ammo he may aim for the ammo um but if he hits the door the door is the weakest point on the tank or maybe second weakest point after the turret ring uh which we're going to see the turret ring get hit a little later on in the show so the weakest points are always being hit um so that's the important detail again no infantry beside the tanks something that we never see the Israelis they're not walking beside the tank to protect them from this um they're too scared to fight um gun battles we never see them fight gun battles um and they want their APS their trophy um active protection system to be on all the time and you can't be outside your tank if your active protection system is on because it will blast all your soldiers because it's essentially like a shotgun blast that tries to knock that round out so pretty incredible that's a video from yesterday the other videos I'm going to go in roughly um the order that they happened in to keep them um just to keep them uh to see the progression again we're only reporting what happened in the last week um and also there's so many videos that I called videos so we're back to the early days of the war where I was calling videos because there's too many to show in any given week um the resistance has been remarkable um so that was the first operation in Rafa uh for the show it was the most recent operation in Rafa to be published um this was the first operation after our show last week this is uh another tunnel operation number one um Kasam is going to come up from a tunnel here you can see him coming up uh and you see a a ner Troop Carrier so 12 soldiers in there um The Fighter comes up from about 50 meters like maybe even less than that and hits and according to uh an American study of these weapons um the to hit the size of a tank moving from 50 meters is a 100% um hit rate from 100 meters it's 93% so these are very accurate uh weapons and can hit the large structure of a tank so you see him come up uh coming up from these tunnels the Israelis are not going down in this tunnel after he shoots they're not interested in fighting in the tunnel we haven't seen footage of Israelis in tunnels in months not even propaganda footage in the tunnels for months um and here they're going to hit this D9 bulldozer from another tunnel operation moving through the Olive Grove and Blasting from very close um that D9 armored bulldozer that's hit um then the D9 armored bulldozer watch this one more time for the proximity you could see um to hit from that distance is um is assures the hit by a skill by a trained fighter u a trained Army fighter it was from the 1970s uh the US Army did the study you could see the D9 bulldozer there hiding in the The Olive Groves um there and that's important to note because this next clip um after this ends here tomorrow number three um because this Kasam fighter is going to be down in a tunnel and he's going to talk about that um he's going to talk about that hit he says we say to the enemy threatening Rafa for months led by the coward Netanyahu the land kills those ignorant of it and revives those knowledgeable of it he says our Fighters struck a D9 bulldozer with a Yasin 105 yesterday the enemy was unable after 24 hours to evacuate its dead from the battlefield despite intense bombardment he says to the enemy Rafa is not a walk in the park it's a graveyard for your forces and you can see that is the D9 armored bulldozer that we're looking at right there from a foot away and he's noting that the Israelis didn't come back for that they abandoned that uh that bulldozer unclear if they abandoned the soldier in uh in the D9 bulldozzer but they abandoned the bulldozzer for many days so they're giving up these massive armored vehicles because they don't have the troops um they don't have the will to fight um to return that uh from a circumstance where they don't know how many are coming out of those tunnels because they can't close that tunnel before they do it and so they're presuming you're being hit by a tunnel um and they're choosing just to evacuate the area they're not staying around for a firefight and then climbing down in the tunnel and um mapping the tunnel and like I said in October um if they're going to win this War Israel you will see Israel down in the tunnels mapping the tunnels for months on end um and we just haven't seen anything like that so um so there's the fighter again let's go to number four tomorrow because uh this is a another kind of operation this is a booby trap of a building this is a uh the success of their um intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance units that are constantly functioning here you see the soldiers re restocking their water in their position position this is something that the Israelis do all over take civilian homes turn them into bases um and fight from them you can see this fighter under the ground setting up the wires making sure the wires have Fidelity that's a multimeter just a basic device that make sure that your wires are are all firing properly um and then they detonate um they detonate that position and it's just amazing because to just do that and detonate the position is one thing but then to have a cameraman with the wherewithal to get into a position to see uh that happen is something important and that's something that Abu oeda focuses on a lot when he says the resistance operations that you're seeing are only a tiny fraction uh on video are only a tiny fraction of the operations that are going on because in many circumstances the cameraman can't get into position especially for these types of booby traps um can't get into positions to to uh it's not militarily effective to get into that position so you see these Fighters and we've seen Fighters now for months and months and months with this kind of knowhow this kind of training this kind of skill um in weaponry and that has allowed these fighters to continue to fight arguably more now than they were at the beginning of the war um and these fighters in some cases these Fighters are clearly Special Forces forces that we're going to watch Noba Elite forces that we're going to watch um so we saw this well let's skip to number five um this is um the oldfashioned uh yasen strike this is a Yassin 105 strike you could see the Warhead there fired against a D9 armored bulldozer these are the bulldozers wreaking havoc all over the West Bank and chanine today and yesterday you could see a good shot of one there just as he's about to get hit um you can see the slat armor around U those are up armored because they uh they look different in Gaza than they do in the West Bank they up armor them in Gaza for these type of weapons that they don't have in the West Bank um so those are two clear direct hits on um on D9 armored bulldozers made by caterpillar in Poria Illinois um something that's um always should be focused on the diggers the excavators the bulldozers um they're all caterpillar products from the United States and easy an easy company uh to top the boycott list um because these devices are murder they're Mad Max machines but they're murder they murder Americans they murdered Rachel Corey uh with one they murder Palestinians with a a a tactic called the pressure cooker where they basically slowly dismantle your house around you until it collapses on top of you um these are the the kind of things that the Israelis use with these bulldozers and you can see that's a direct hit um on that bulldozzer this second one is also a direct hit on the bulldozer and these bulldozers don't do well um when they're hit um they're not tanks um they do have some tank armor but it's not to the scale of needed let's go to seven tomorrow this is an this is an ambush and we're going to notice this one Ali will notice this the backup camera we've seen this a couple of times throughout the War uh the dog gets a triangle here so that you know he's a combat dog um the Israeli foot Force sends in looking for a tunnel um this is a yahalom unit almost surely working with an okatz canine unit looking for tunnels looking for tunnel entrances so here come the six there's two the dog was one so there're three we're watching them count four um we're using a backup camera now they're feeling a bit more confident because this Ambush has been set well if you make too much noise if you're too obvious the IDF will Retreat and just bomb the space um so the the camouflage of the Ambush the luring aspect of the Ambush is a critical component this guy's he's going right in and it's detonated so the uh again you have six soldiers within that detonation the detonation was an anti-personnel device um that was set up according to the camb Bri Gades uh Field Report and this is on again this is in Rafa we're doing all Rafa right now this is on the Eastern edge of Rafa the very Eastern Edge this is the first thing that the Israelis are encountering in Rafa um and they're getting a tunnel detonated on them the building we don't see the tunnel um Kasam didn't say it was a tunnel because um there's no need to give up a tunnel position when you uh Ambush the soldiers before they get to the tunnel but you can presume the Israelis believe this is a tunnel position and are sending a Special Forces Unit combat engineers the yahalom unit is their tunnel Specialists unit um and he doesn't see obviously doesn't see the reverse camera there so okay let's go to number eight um try to go through these um here's another D9 armored bulldozer and this was an interesting one because it's a clear hit from uh uh I don't know what that is 50 meters it's um a clear hit and interesting it was the IDF matched uh it's not always possible to do this but on this day it was uh the IDF released a few hours later that a senior combat engineer was seriously wounded in an RPG strike on a D9 so he basically just narrated what we just saw so that came from the IDF acknowledging casualties um on that one on this next one number nine they don't acknowledge casualties but this is a remarkable we're going to Loop this one a couple times so so the first thing we see is Two Soldiers riding on top of a ner Troop Carrier there's 12 soldiers in there you can see the two of them they're out they're each one is out their own hatch at the front you can see the guns on the front and you can see the tank get the armored personnel carrier in infantry Fighting Vehicle get hit directly where those soldiers were now when we watch it back watch it when we watch it back take notice of the fact that the vehicle is advancing forward oh they're just giving us a double rewind here of the hit and that's a new editing feature that they just added this week okay so see how we're going forward we're moving forward we're going forward down the street and they see something and they stop dead see them stop they're talking to each other they've seen something down the road and they're now pausing backing up there you see him fire he fires his 50 cal mounted 50 cal he fires it and then he reaches for his uh you can see him reach for his hatch to try to close his hatch which he does not close in time but this this operation leaves we're going to Loop it a couple more times just so you can see the the soldiers are advancing down the road and there's something on the road ahead that makes these guys stop they stop talk look at each other hit the brakes he tells the driver to hit the brakes and now they go immediately backwards and watch him fire the 50 cal right here just as just as he's about to get hit he fires the 50 cal so what this looks like to me don't want to get too speculative here um but it looks like this column of Tanks is moving forward um and some some has come out of an alley or fired something that caught their attention riding outside of the vehicle because they're moving forward here watch them stop dead they stop dead like they banged the brakes you can see it wobble forward um he hit The Brak so hard you see the two of them outside you can see him reach up for the for the gun fires the gun and then is hit so those two soldiers are not Among Us it's just there's no other way to spin that you get hit by that Warhead in the way that it's hit I'm not I'm not actually a big fan of that edit I hope that kassam doesn't continue with that edit but they did it a bunch of times this week and and it really does highlight the explosion but um it's got a bit of a um an unreal quality to it that's I don't think is um is is ideal but watch them again so you see the two of them interacting boom fires his gun and Bam he's hit so what it looks like to me is that somebody's come out there's this is an ambush that has been set up this is a column of tanks that they have watched travel down this road multiple times they see that they it's hot in Gaza they see that they ride with their hatches open and then they do something on the road to get the vehicle to stop right in the Ambush territory right because the fighter is right in this territory he's in perfect position we don't see the shooter but you can imagine the shooters in his Ambush position and they have through uh intelligence reconnaissance and surveillance um made a move to get these soldiers to reverse slowly back in into the Ambush Zone um rather than hitting them when they're flying through the Ambush Zone um it's an interesting tactic to get them to reverse um in in back into the Ambush Zone and apparently they did that um quite spectacularly on that one so let's do number 10 uh 10 is a still um and one of the reasons why they know how to do all this and where to hit and how to be most effective uh the IDF showed us this this is from the idf's uh the IDF showed that they captured uh a Hamas training base a cassam BRI Gades training base on the Eastern edge of Rafa but look at what they're showing they're showing that Kasam has built the first vehicle is a Namar Troop Carrier and the vehicle behind it is a marava tank and the tank has the mounted gun the marava has the angles of or the namr has the angles of the ner Troop Carrier um and they can pick their targets by training on these vehicles we've I've shown you a bunch of times training videos of the tanks they have many of them um and I've also showed you early in the war uh miniature models like mockup models of uh the vehicles and we saw the Aton that they captured an Aon inside Gaza um after October 7th the Aton was only went into service in an emergency on October 7th so cassam had a vehicle that hadn't even been released yet they had it in a model um that their Fighters could train on and their Fighters train on these tanks they train on these armored personel carriers and so when they're firing and they're being extremely courageous um and they're looking to hit they hit every time they're not just firing at any point of the tank they're picking spots on the tank that are in training uh told for weaknesses that are that are told that are weak spots and they're different for each weapon the weapon the shuah is is aimed at a different place than the um uh than the the the the yine and the rocket propelled grenade is at a different spot the uh the magnetic a fixed gorilla action device um they practice putting those in between the tank turret um the turret ring um between the turret and the tra and the chassis of the tank the hull of the tank um and so they're trained on all this these are trained Fighters that have been training for years many years 15 20 years they've been out they've been allowed to train since 2005 when Israel pulled their forces out of the Gaza Strip um and gave the Palestinians for the first time and um after the creation of the state of Israel gave Palestinians a piece of territory that they controlled and they used that territory um to build a miniate to build a miniate where you have military training where you practice and that's how we saw in October 7th so many videos they had training videos of their paragliders they had training videos um of their breaching units they had training videos of where to hit the tanks with all the various different Weaponry um and so what we're seeing right there is I'm not sure what the Israelis I don't I don't know what the Israelis think they're doing when they show this um because it's you didn't capture anything all you did was uh Advance through far like Farmers fields and in one of those Farmers Fields there's a training base and the training base shows that your enemy is way ahead of you in fighting um and is a large reason why you your forces Israel's forces were dismantled on October 7th um is because of the swiftness and efficacy and skill uh that the fighters carried out their mission with um and so I'm not sure what the Israelis think when they show this but every once in a while he use Israeli footage I think you guys at this point now eight months in know that I don't show Israeli footage uh for principled reasons but sometimes we we sneak these in also because it's a waste the Israeli footage is a waste to you've seen them elsewhere on social media they're just shooting their guns into walls they're shooting them blankly out windows they're they're all standing in Windows you can mock them um I've chose not to mock them and to instead focus on the resistance defeating them um and not give their videos any extra play so that's a decision that we've made uh editorially um but of course if there's ever things to bring um that are necessary we will always do that um and I think showing you that tank and armored personnel carrier um are things important to show because that's how they do it that's how they train they have uh training on the actual vehicles and they also have cards we saw on septe on October uh 7th Fighters with cards that had you know if it's this vehicle use this weapon if it's this vehicle use this weapon if it's if it's stationary use this weapon if it's moving use this weapon um so the fighters have training but they also had cards that were uh with them in the field so let's move that was Rafa uh still early stages of the war in Rafa brutal uh Mass Exodus from Rafa they didn't uh interestingly the Israelis didn't set up a checkpoint um from the exit of Rafa which is what allowed people to feel safe to move uh in large numbers they also stopped delivering Aid they moved the field hospitals um and so theyve they in a way forced people to leave as well but the is idf's evacuation order only covered 150,000 people on
