Complex ambushes hit Israeli troops in Gaza City, with Jon Elmer

we're going to move up to Gaza City um take a look at this map here zoomed in um just let me excuse me um we're g to move up to Gaza City um and just want to show you a couple battle sites in telwa that you see there I described that last week as downtown Gaza cityia connects to the AL Ral neighborhood and it's just the commercial uh core of the Gaza uh of the Gaza Strip it's the downtown area it's the beach front um it's where law where tall towers uh commercial towers and civilian Towers uh residential towers and all of the Telecommunications the United Nations uh main offices it's just the downtown core and it's been basically completely eliminated the um Fighters that fought in tahaa we showed videos from them last week and we got more videos this week which is interesting because it is um it's indicating that they're using operational Security in the moment of the battle and holding the videos till after um along the narim corridor that you see there in red they're still holding that and that is under constant attack I could put I could do shows that are just about um the rocket artillery and the mortars being um being laid down fire being laid down constantly on the narim corridor six seven eight times a day by all the all the different factions you know you can have a dozen factions uh fighting in joint operations hitting um the Israeli positions in the nerim corridor so and that's the Fate that will be the fate of the Philadelphia Corridor um should the Israelis attempt to continue to stay in there and the Israelis are talking about SP expanding the Philadelphia Corridor to 800 meters um the NS a rim Corridor is 500 MERS on either side of uh two or 300 meter wide um Road along the middle um that the Israelis have named as a highway um so that's uh we're going to focus now on a couple operations in the north we're going to focus on one in telawa that was from the battle last week um and this is a complex operation there's four different uh it begins by describing four different security difficult security situations um and the overdub the voiceover of that is the Israeli media saying that um on their television we're watching Four operations here varying IEDs we're seeing them here repurposing um Israeli American uh Mark 84 bombs 2,000 pound bombs that was a shaad 3 that we saw and we're seeing Drone footage tactical deployment of drones again here we're showing uh the Muhammad al- mean a mean roundabout and the four major operations there's actually six operations but there's four that they're T they're pointing out because there's a first operation of laying the weaponry and that's surprise Ambush it begins at 4:17 with a um with that first blast of U unexploded ordinance being reused against a series of uh Israeli Jeeps um at 4 in the morning 4:26 in the morning the shaah three is being used there detonating and again we see command and control we see the commanders able to communicate with the um with the soldiers in the field with the fighters in the field this five 32 a.m operation here with Jeeps open top Jeeps because this is on the edge of the narim corridor they believe they're safe and they're hit with a television anti-personnel weapon that is um that is the right weapon to use for that situation um and the last strike the you could see the soldiers moving here um the last strike these soldiers move into the anti-personnel hit and they're hit with unexploded and more exploded ordinance there that you can see blast out of the side of that building um and towards the movement of those troops so that's part three um part three actually part four part five if you include the planting of it now we see four armored vehicles moving right into the roundabout that's the roundabout that they showed you before um and they're going to get hit by Yassin 105 the lead vehicle there you see uh is hit and so a complex operation and there you see the fighters there's the fighters those are Palestinians returning to their bases safely um these are not martyrdom missions these Fighters are returning to their base uh with more skill uh than they left with um skill that will be something that the Israelis have to deal with uh consistently can we show it one more time tomorrow just so people get another get a good sense of what we what we're talking about here so we're going to talk about the first operation 412 six vehicles are passing by four gather closely together we're going to watch for that they're detonated with the first bomb here you can see them that that is the digging out right there of the uh the TNT from inside the unexploded bomb you can see it buried there theyve buried the unexploded bomb they're wiring it up connecting it to the shaaz so they're using their indigenous made weapons they're using Israeli weapons that they're returning to their senders um you're seeing Drone footage here to show the route this is a pre planned Ambush showing command and control showing the forces not fighting as a gorilla Force this is fighting as an organized Army still um and that's the surprise Ambush 4:12 a.m it begins uh those first four vehicles are hit with the 2,000 pound bomb um with the insides of the 2,000 pound bomb that are returned to Sender 426 you're going to see the targeting of the shaaz 3 there that's the explosively formed penetrator we're seeing the commanders with command and control on this um these are deadly weapons that are being deployed here and that's why the Israelis call it a a difficult security situation at 532 we see a convoy of Humvees um often associated with special forces or leadership um sort of reverse intuitively counterintuitively um 713 one hour um later um you see Israeli soldiers in their vehicle there um and they've dismounted and are walking right into the Ambush um that is Again part of the 500 PB bomb there was two unexploded ordinates that's the 500 PB bomb which is a mark 81 series bomb these are American bombs the Israelis make some of them but the vast majority overwhelming majority come from the Americans and here we're going to see the 808 am Convoy that gets hit by a Yasin 105 versus what appears to be a military Jeep and that's a devastating hit on a military Jeep um so surely after seeing this with our own eyes and we check the casualty rates uh shown by the Israelis we'll see multiple uh casualties if not fatalities um and a nice touch here showing from the spotter the Palestinian Fighters returning to their base safely so that was in telawa excellent uh detailed operation we're going to go to Shaya now uh home of fought of course we say that every time um and home of the legendary Fighters uh in the Gaza Strip from the beginning of the Kasam brigades and Islamic Jihad Shaya has been um has been the main this this is the strongest fighting formation um in the Gaza Strip and again we're seeing this video from the two- week battle uh number 16 here tomorrow this is part of the two-e battle that they just released the uh the video this week so they said when they're Fighters return from the lines this isal KS now showing command and control we're seeing fighters in tactical vests um we're not seeing ragtag forces we're not seeing Guerilla forces trying to do hit-and run uh harassment operations we're seeing uh soldiers in a window you can see their sniper position there we're watching the weapons get passed through Mouse holes in the wall uh sophisticated operations moving between buildings without going outside and getting in position to fire the sing single charge Iranian um rpg7 thermobaric TB G7 thermobaric Warhead uh at the troops and and in the dialogue that we've cut out the fighter says there's only two meters between us and we've been watching them for three days um so their their uh surveillance reconnaissance intelligence is a crucial part of these operations you can see the smoke from the um I believe they're showing the metac there um the concealment for the the metac there but um the the the guys after when they go here you can see the fighters return basically return to their base safely and they're talking about they entered our neighborhood and I swear my people we with we placed a knife in their hearts in the midst of their artillery their tanks and their machine gun fire and laughter and joy filled us we are not afraid of them that's what the fighters say when they come back to their base there so again we're seeing tactical we vests there tactical vests on the fighters um we're seeing the fighters talk about the positions they've been watching that position for three days um before carrying out this operation they're choosing appropriate Weaponry they're moving with the groups Rial KS always lets us follow for longer moving be between houses uh to get a clear shot and again they don't stick their head out the window to take this shot um because the if you do it gives away even if your hit is successful it gives away the position from from where you fired um and automatic systems AI systems systems that are better than Israeli soldiers can track you and return fire so um they're not doing that they're firing from inside the building um and so that's been remarkable those remarkable operations come on the heels of two weeks of shows that I've shown you from the Battle of Shaya and the telawa um 10 months into the war they're able to fight just as well as they basically just as well as from the day one we don't see anything if anything we see improvements because we are the command and control is firm um the fighters have experience know how to move and and that's what we're seeing there um so that's the resistance report from the Gaza Strip thanks for watching this video please
