Palestinian fighters use geography to evade Israeli tanks in Gaza, with Jon Elmer

um but of course there's been operations uh H happening consistently this is part of the shifa operation um and this is a fighter who looking in the ruins around shiffa hospital and you're going to watch if you look in the in the center of the screen here you're going to watch a fighter pop up out of the rubble here um in his hoodie directly again we're seeing another footage of directly staring down the tank Barrel um but using the ruins um to fight outside the hosital Hospital not inside the hospital and they point that out in this video the voiceover in this video uh addresses the IDF chief of staff and says the Islamic Jihad voiceover says we are out here on the battlefield we're not inside and this video um I mean the videos if you remember back from a couple weeks ago's show um there was videos of literally uh dozens of armored vehicles being hit on the outside of of shifa of the brutal r unspeakable atrocities carried out at shiffa hospital um but resistance in the neighborhoods around it and Israel erased that neighborhood 1,50 houses home uh homes destroyed or and burned um and of course as Norah pointed out more than 400 bodies recovered um from the from the burned out ruins um that Israel left here um at shiffa hospital I just want to Note One Thing about this is that after the shiffa hospital raid um y have Galant the Israeli defense minister he met with the general with the commanders of the Southern command the the generals responsible for um the War uh in Gaza and they he said that he came out of that meeting and his message out of that meeting was that shiffa is an example of the type of operations that Israel intends to carry out out um in this next stage of the war as they call it um indicating that they believe that they can dictate which stages of the War uh that they're in but that that that they're actually proud of this shiffa operation they're militarily proud they're military uh leadership they're generals they sit for photo Ops and and brag and they did all through this the shifa operation that this is a model for the way that they want to fight these Wars um we remember back in November during the first shiffa hospital raid there it was an avalanche of lies that we had to deal with uh about whether there's command centers and tunnels and and and whether Yahya sinir was going to uh come up from the tunnels and uh and surrender like Seymour hir said that he was going to do all of that stuff is gone all of that pretense is gone for this shifa massacre um and now the Israelis are are proud of this second shifa operation that is just an appalling War crime that will be um one of the if not the first um of the war crimes trials uh that that Israel will um will will attempt to avoid um but we'll um surely this kind of information Israel has left such a digital foot footprint fingerprint um on all these operations that uh that they believe that there's impunity lasting indefinitely um and and they're they're trusting that um I don't believe that's going to be the case but we'll we'll see how uh the future unfolds so tomorrow can we go to number three after this one um so this is this is an operation this is the first ghilly suit this is a ghilly suit uh sniper team um a ghilly suit is a camouflage um um a camouflage suit that the snipers wear to blend into the landscape so that they can stay in a a dangerous position this is in the buffer zone we're looking at an antimaterial sniper rifle here like the alul um it's an Iranian s 50 cal um that the it's similar to the alul um couple aloul uh differences but we see the spotter um we see the spotter working we see the sniper working in teams um here in the foliage they're in um in camou flaged in the foliage and I uh to get into this sniper position this is east of Gaza City um so this is probably east of of Shaya um around the Border area this is Israel operating in the buffer zone which is something that um if they intend to stay in the buffer zone these are the kind of attacks um that we'll see but in conun they they don't appear to be staying in the buffer zone they appear to leave right through the fence in the South um so it's unclear what if they're going to stay in these buffer zones they have left troops along that nerim Corridor that we've also described on previous shows which is the corridor that divides uh the north from the south and is the way that Israel is intending to split the Gaza Strip and prevent people from going they have since the beginning of the war prevented people from going back to their homes um and we speculated that the American pier May connect um to that Corridor the Israelis have withdrawn from all of Gaza except for one Brigade that they have along that Corridor and the resistance reports um that we've gotten are that that as soon as that happened um that that Corridor has been under under constant attack and also worth noting about the conun operation when the Israelis left conun minutes after they left their Iron Dome uh air defense system was knocking down Rockets fired from con Yunis um and they also left the middle camps area and Rockets were fired from the middle camps area as a signal um that that's message sending from the Palestinians more than it is an attempt at military efficacy just a proof that uh that you're that Israel is not able to accomplish even its most Elementary goals which is to stop rocket fire um on the communities that are evacuated Israel's communities in the South are still evacuated people have not gone back to their homes they're living in hotels and they're promising in these interviews from the hotels that they're not going to go back to these communities until the rocket fire stops the presumption was that this genocide uh would would have an impact on that uh on that rocket fire as well as on the military organizations and of course neither is true um because the Rockets aren't actually fired by the cassam brigades in these cases they're fired by the smaller groups Israel hasn't even been able to Dent the rocket units of the smaller gorilla factions in Gaza let alone the apparatus of the cassam
