You are watching and listening to the electronic inifatada. I am John Elmer. This is the resistance report for day 671 of Israel's genocidal war. I am reporting this on octo on August the 7th. Um and as usual, let's start with the maps. We are still using these United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs maps that are updated each week. We can see 88% of the Gaza Strip is under shoot tokill. uh and displacement orders. You can see the three uh essentially the three ghettos that are forming uh in Moasi and Dabbala and in the north in Gaza. Uh over the weekend, the Israeli military said that they carried out 130 air strikes uh over the weekend. And as we know from Norah's report, um the majority of the deaths uh this week have been at aid sites.
more than 1500 people have been massacred at um these these US mercenary and Israeli um death trap uh aid distribution sites. Um and so this is a particularly cowardice uh cowardly way of fighting this war, this starvation, the war of starvation and then massacring people at the starvation sites rather than uh fighting the resistance um in these open areas that uh have no population in them anymore. Um, and in the Israeli press this week, Yedio Areronaut uh captured uh stories that were in all Israeli newspapers, which is that Gideon's chariots, the operation that began on May 19th, has now ended. Um, and it did not achieve its objectives. And the Israeli media was pretty open about it not achieving its objectives.
So, Gideon's chariots has failed just like the general's plan has failed. And the Israeli government has been in plan in talking this week about plans to occupy all of Gaza. And the Israeli military pushed back hard on that basically just saying we can't do it. We don't have the forces. Our troops are exhausted. Um and uh Al Zamir, the chief of staff, um he said that uh well he pushed back and against the um government plan and he said um that he his plan the the Israeli military plan would be for encirclement and attrition. Um otherwise he said that occupying Gaza um the the army believes instead of exhausting Casam, Casam will end up exhausting our military through their continued guerilla operations.
Um and he talked about how they would need uh six full divisions. Um something that Israel hasn't been able to muster since the first days of the war. Um and that is just um something that they're unable to do. Just one note, Abu Oda spoke this week. Um the resistance released uh footage of uh their prisoners of war um that were um uh malnourished like everyone else in Gaza. and Abu Obeda released a statement along with that that said, "The Alkasan brigades are ready to deal positively and respond to any requests from the Red Cross to bring food and medicine to enemy captives. We stipulate for this acceptance the natural and permanent opening of the humanitarian corridors for the passage of food and medicine for all people in all areas of the Gaza Strip and the ceation of forms of aerial sorties over uh aerial sorties during the times when the prisoners of war would be receiving the parcels and delivering them to uh when the parcels would be delivered to the prisoners of war.
The Alkasam brigades do not intentionally starve captives and as this is what they've been saying since the beginning of the war they eat what our fighters eat and what our people eat. They will not receive any special privilege in right in light of the crime of starvation and siege. So Abu Abda offering uh to allow the Red Cross to see the captives um and to get food into the Gaza Strip. But as we know, Israel doesn't care about those captives um and is likely not going to do anything about that. Um let's take a look at the next map because this is the displacement map. Um this is by the site management cluster. Um this is a cluster of United Nations organizations and NOS's on migration. And you can see on this map again it's the same.
You're seeing the same 80 uh they're saying 89% is under um militarized displacement orders. And you can see the flow of um uh displacement on the arrows on that map. They're into the three ghettos. And you can see the three ghettos a little easier on this map. Gaza city at the top there. Um Darl Bala in the middle camps. And then Moasi on the coast. And um the people that are displaced in Gaza City are living along the port uh along the there's no port along the harbor in uh Gaza City and along the beach. Um the same in Darbala and in Moasi. They're living on sand dunes and along the beach with no infrastructure um to hold or to care for people in these areas. Um the situation in Gaza, as Norah reported on the newscast off the top of the show, we have seen overflight footage during these theater aid drops um that the governments uh the complicit governments uh have been doing over uh Gaza.
And we've seen the footage of what Gaza City looks like from the air. And you can see tens of thousands of people um all along the waterfront uh on the beach, in the sand, um around any of the roundabouts uh in the city. Um really devastating uh images that we saw and you can see those on Norah's report. Um the site management cluster says, as you can see on that map, 768,000 displaced since March 18th. Um and two more evacuation notices yesterday for Western Conunus and the refugee camp. Um and one evacuation notice in uh southern Zetun in Gaza City. Um and yeah, as I said, you can see the three ghettos forming in Moasi. There's believed to be um a little more than 600,000 people in the camps. Gaza city has a million and uh Darabala fluctuates but it's around uh 400,000 uh in those camps.
So brutal conditions living in 12% uh of the strip while the military strategy for the Israelis is to starve the population uh in the hopes that uh Kasam will surrender or the population will surrender. Neither of which is happening. Um we look at the next map. This is crop land destruction. Um, another view of the way to to take a look at this genocide. This is the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization using Sentinel satellite mapping via UNISAT. Um, and this map was published this week as well. Both the last two maps, all three of the last maps were all published this week. Um, as always, um, these maps are freshened up, uh, each week. This shows the just the brutal destruction of the crop land in Gaza.
The orange area is de is destroyed crop land and uh 130 square kilmters of agricultural land has been destroyed out of the 150 um square kilm total in the strip and just to go by governor it uh in north Gaza 94% of the crop land has been destroyed in Gaza city area 9% in Darbala and the middle camps 84% has been destroyed communis 81% and Rafa 80% of the land has crop land has been destroyed. But you can see uh on that map that the orange the yellow is the areas that are not destroyed. But you can see that the orange encroaches on all of the yellow areas. Um which essentially makes it uh impossible to grow in those yellow areas because they're surrounded by destruction. And that's been part of this genocide as well.
the Gaza Strip after 17 years of brutal military siege by the Israelis um had many uh in many ways been self-sufficient uh in Gaza for growing and the farmland was used to keep uh the local population uh in a state uh where aid was not the primary uh or only uh way of getting food. they had built self-sufficiency in um in agriculture uh while they were building self-sufficiency in their military capacity as well. Um this next map is uh I showed you this one last week from Kunis. This is from Harets that gives you an idea uh of the areas that has been destroyed, but I wanted to bring it back on the show to show you the Morag corridor which I broke down earlier on uh in these reports. Uh you can find those on our YouTube page.
There's a playlist for the resistance reports and for the news reports and for our Gaza guests that you can find um all of the history of those reports in there. Um but the Morag corridor is um uh is this area that divides Rafa from um from Kunis and in Rafa this week. I reported this a few weeks ago as well. Um but we're still seeing operations in Rafa. uh soldiers were severely wounded this week from the IDF's Bedawin Reconnaissance Trackers Unit in Rafa. Um and also Yaser Abu Shabbab's gangs. Um his this is Israel's collaborators. Um their gangs were targeted in Rafa. And the Israeli state broadcaster again reported that the IDF's medevac unit, unit 669, uh, medevaced Yaser Abu Shabbab's gang members, collaborators out of Rafa.
Um, so they're getting medevac helicopters. This is, uh, I have reported on these before. They've happened before. Um, and in Conunus all week and in the north of Gaza, in the absence of face-to-face fighting, um, the Israeli military has been using more of these M113, their old stock, uh, troop carriers and filling them up with bombs and using and uh, their robot tank bombs that they uh, are unmanned and they use those for demolition and destruction. reports uh of that in Conunice specifically this week. And just to keep the Morg corridor in mind as we go to the next uh image because that's where this operation um that I reported on last week um number five is um the Israelis uh Israeli drone footage uh found uh 13 armed Kasam fighters um that were attempting to capture Israeli soldiers as army radio said last week.
serious incident in the Gaza Strip that could have ended with a heavy price. 12 Palestinian fighters set up an ambush near a logistics route. IDF estimates they intended to capture soldiers. They had deployed with Yasines with IEDs and also using tactical drones. Casam's own drones. The Israelis brought in drones um and when the fighters saw the drones, they um tactically withdrew um to fight another day. And I just wanted to bring you one frame from uh from that uh drone footage. And what you're looking at there on the screen is the fighters in the burm. You're looking at seven fighters uh are disguising themselves in that burm. And I just wanted to show that because it's so uh they're so well hidden in there.
And just to juxtapose that with what we see um of Israel's uh sniping and drone attacks on people walking down the middle of the street. The fighters do not wander down the middle of the street. This is how they operate. They are operating in camouflage disguise, hiding from the drones. When you see people walking down this middle of the street getting killed by the Israelis, they're civilians. This is what it looks like. This is what a trained military force looks like when they're waiting in ambush. You can see the footprints. That's the only thing that gives away uh where the fighters are in that. And I just thought um I would bring attention to that because we see such brutal massacres of civilians on a daily basis um all throughout the day.
Um and it's uh completely different than the way that the fighters uh handle situations like this. So that is from that attempted capture operation which is along the Moore corridor to bring full circle to those last two frames. Um now coming up we have an operation number six. This was a triple IED minefield operation. Again, you can see um the destruction uh and use by Casam here of Israeli destruction and the use of Casam of tactical drones. You can see them burying barrel bombs here. These are bombs filled with unexloded ordinance. Um you can see they are um easily buried in this kind of sand. Um, and when you see the further picture there, you can see the Israeli military driving in their convoy.
It looks like the first one looks like a Nom troop carrier. That looks like a mark of a tank. And their convoy just gets hit with that first uh explosion uh along and we're going to see three in a row right along uh right along that route. um Casam in their field report said on Monday evening um July 28th, Alcasam fighters were able to detonate three barrel bombs inside um of enemy vehicle strongholds um southwest of Conun City and the resulting enemy soldiers were killed and wounded because they monitored the helicopters landing to do the medevac uh in this area. Um, this is a triple IED operation setting up a minefield. Um, and after we watch this uh one more time through, I'll show you in the next picture how the uh from the drone footage how you can see where the route is.
There's the first tanks going on a predictable path that intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance is all over um tracking this. This is the surveillance footage from uh back. You can see the first uh vehicle trips, first two vehicle trips and the third vehicle trip there of the IEDs. Um and then they show you all three of them on the screen at once here. Uh successful operation in the minefield. If we go to number seven, just to look at this overview, this is the drone footage. This is a still of the drone footage and you can see the paths that the Israeli military have to take. They're not following roads, but they cut predictable paths through. And you can see looking at this, you can see that building in the foreground.
If you follow that road, that was where they were buried up on that uh hill of the sand hill uh in that building. But you can see that that route goes to a bridge. So the Israeli military is using a bridge that they have built to cross through that area. So Casam knows that the um that the route that they have to take is going to follow that track because that's where they've built that um makeshift um bridge or causeway you may want to call it. In any case, you can see the clear marks through the land. You can also see the clear genocide um and eraser here of southwestern communis. Um but you can see the roots that the military takes and Casam exploited those uh those roots um in a successful operation this week through a minefield.
Um the next operation is also in communis. Um number eight is Sariah al- Kud's operation um that was carried out in cooperation with the alammoodi brigades of the alax of martyrs brigades. But you see here an Israeli position. You can see we blurred the soldiers. You can see them operating there uh along the You can see them uh to this is a a position. This fighter's got a 107 mm rocket artillery piece. Um and he's going to move it into position. We've been watching these happen in the last few weeks. Uh moving between buildings, mouseholding between buildings. These fighters live here. They don't move around Gaza. They live in the area. They know how to move. So you can see them here setting up 107 millimeter rocket artillery round which is normally fired in an arcing trajectory and that's what we see them setting up uh when they set these up.
They can be fired off makeshift launchers like we're watching here. Um but these fighters we've seen in the last few weeks and particularly although we did see it earlier in the war, it's a useful tactic. um but launching on a flat trajectory um and using it as essentially an anti-personnel weapon um a heavier anti-personnel weapon aimed directly at this uh Israeli position and again uh this is a joint operation with the Alamoodi brigade. Um and you can see the fighters here when they launch this rocket um they basically thread the needle exactly on this operation. And that's the building that we were just looking at. They're identifying it as a command post for the Israeli military. You can see Sarah Aluds have their own launcher systems here.
Normally earlier in the war, we would see those launched in multiple launches. Um, but there's a direct hit on that position using that uh piece of uh rocket artillery which is um probably out of range for the Al Ghoul sniper rifle. Um, and it's a more of an area weapon that's more of a threat to the the number of troops that are in there than just a simple sniper operation. So, that is an interesting operation. Um, the next one, number nine, is Casam's Rajim. This is Kasam's built system, 114 mm rocket artillery system that uh we saw be used so effectively on October the 7th um that began the operation on October 7th and pushed the Israeli military into their shelters which allowed the blinding and breaching operations to be executed.
These were done with uh Casamu built um rocket artillery and over the since Gideon's chariots, there have been more than60 distinct artillery operations. I went back and counted through them for each uh week's shows that we have reported on this. We don't show uh they get a bit short shrift on this show just because there's so many other videos to show and there's not much to see in the artillery operations. The mortars uh when they're just loading tubes, you don't see the other end of the operation. So they um don't make it on the resistance report very often, but as you can see 160 distinct artillery operations. That's not number of munitions, that's number of overall operations. Most of the operations have several munitions like what you're seeing uh here right now.
There was 20 artillery operations this week alone. Um and again the the Rajum that you're seeing there is a Kasam built weapon. Moving a little further north the Gaza city Shajaya neighborhood we have the Popular Front for the liberation of Palestine Abu Ali Mustapa Brigades operation a joint operation between the PFLP and Islamic Jihad. um that we have seen several times throughout the war. They're always coordinating with the joint operations room with artillery. You're tracking here armored vehicles uh going through. We saw that pressure plate detonator. We'll give you another look at the bomb that was buried. Um cuz it's a EFP. That is Sel Kud's primary uh anti-armour weapon. Um and you can see again just the total destruction in Shuja.
Um no military purpose to it. just want and destruction. And in this July 30 field report, um they mentioned that this operation was from earlier. There's the pressure plate detonator that you can see. So they bury the EFP and then they put the pressure plate with so much destruction they don't even need to bury it. Um and the armored vehicle rolls over it and trips it at any point. So you don't need to have a fighter in place there tripping triggering the detonation because Israel is going to respond um by mass uh attack uh after this and you don't want your fighters in that area. So you can see them using the surveillance footage um from a distance there uh a successful operation from earlier in July.
Uh again sometimes we get these operations late. All the operations were published this week, but that operation took place in early July. And next up, we have a PFLP poster that they published this week um that says, "My weapon, no power in the world can take it." Uh good PFLP poster in their uh in their uh standard style, I guess you could say. Um and another poster from um Sariah Aluds here saying, "Your chariots are in ruins." And this is a play on Gideon's chariots that the operation is in ruins. The Israelis themselves admitted it was a failure. It was in their newspapers this week. Um but it's also a play on the merkava which is the chariot of in Hebrew is the chariot of God. It also carries the connotations of sacrificed for nothing here wasted.
Um so that your chariots have been wasted by your government's uh operation which failed. Um, and I think both sides agree on that right now and that is why the Israelis aren't sure what the next phase of this war is going to look like. So, that is the Gaza report, but I just wanted to bring you a couple from Yemen that happened this week. Um, you can see this uh Israeli um IDF map uh showing uh rocket sirens that put uh hundreds of thousands uh of Israelis into shelters this week. And there was Israeli or there was American uh Congress people in um in Israel for that. So they got that experience as well. This is a um an attack on Bengurian airport according to the Yemeni armed forces with a Palestine 2 ballistic missile.
And there was several operations this week. Earlier this week, the um Yemeni armed forces said that their drone air force of the Yemeni armed forces carried out three qualitative military operations targeting three Israeli enemy targets using three drones. Uh two of these operations targeted two military sites of the Zionist enemy in the areas of Yafa and Ascalon. Um while the third targeted Hifa port. So uh the Amenes promised to expand their um blockade to Hifa port uh in the Mediterranean after the shutdown of the AAT port. Um and this next uh slide is from the many armed forces that shows how many munitions have been used. 679 munitions have been used in support of Gaza in these two years. coming up on two years.
Abdul Malik al-H Houthi uh gave these figures in a speech um a couple weeks back. Um Yahasari, the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces said, "Yam will not abandon its religious, moral, and humanitarian duties towards our Palestinian people, Alakamos, and our brothers in Gaza who are subjected to killing and starvation through aggression and siege. Silence on this genocidal war against our brothers in Gaza is a disgrace and a shame that will continue to haunt the Arab world throughout its history and its consequences will be severe for all peoples and countries sooner or later. Yahasari said Yemen will continue to support its supportive will continue its supportive operations until the aggression stops and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted.
So they have been consistent with that. So that is the resistance report for day 671 of Israel's criminal genocidal war in Gaza. [Music]
